DISCLAIMER: This is Day 2 of the new M4A1-S update, and I would like to assume that the majority of pro players still have not gotten used to the new update or the M4A4 counter part. Please take this as a risk, as this change can potentially change the way many professionals play.
Fnatic were most recently at a LAN held by ESL in Dubai, where they were eliminated by Virtus Pro in the semi finals. Since then, they have played 4 games (all of which have been BO1’s for FaceIt and ESL ESEA) and they have won all 4. They have won against TSM, G2 (Kinguin), Titan and Mouz. Other than their sub par performance in ESL Dubai, I would say that Fnatic are looking good to take this match.
Hellraisers have made a very big change recently after Dosia’s departure. Fix (Ukrainian player who plays for Worst Players/Evolution) is the un official 5th player which will be filling the shoes for Dosia. Fix has played just 3 games with HR and they have all been losses in the BO1’s. They have lost to Mouz, TSM and G2 (Kinguin). There isn’t a big chance for HR to take this, considering that this roster change was quite recent.
This is a BO1, and never go large on a BO1 as anything can happen. My personal odds are 80-20 and if the odds exceed that, I wouldn’t bother betting on Fnatic since all you would get are bad items in your returns as well as the added risk that HR may come together and take a win off. Still, I don’t think that will happen and Fnatic should be able to take this one.
My odds for this match: Fnatic 80:20 HR
