VP looked still a bit sluggish, and think it is apparent they didn’t really play that much lately. Dignitas have yet to win a BO3 vs a top 10 team for something close to 5 months, which obviously is a bit worrying. VP got the job done yesterday, and I think they should be able to do the same today. If they aren’t at the races though, and dignitas carry on their good form from yesterday, then they have a chance.
The main issues for me with dignitas is consistency. Yesterday was one of the few times the rest of the roster fragged consistently, apart from aizy, and this was the main reason they took down a rather poor Liquid. I highly doubt this will happen today, which dramatically decreases their chances of taking this. They will need VP to be in poor form, and they all need to be hitting their shots, and even then they might still struggle.
Dignitas seem to like the map Train, but I hope they bury their egos and stay away from it, as this I feel will be a free map for VP. If I was the Dignitas captain, I would try to steer towards a weak map for VP for the second, and hope the veto plays out well for them. VP are the type of side to respect their opponents, and will for sure eliminate D2 or Inferno.
I think the chances of dig winning this are really small, but with the odds being how they are, I will probably ICB on dig if I am feeling it later.
My odds for this match: VP 65:35 Dignitas
