Titan are a side that always had a decent record against VP, their play styles seem to match, and they are good on maps that VP are not. Dust2/inferno will be almost free wins for Titan if they play to anything like their level, where as Train will be for VP, if Titan let them leave it in. It will then come down to the slightly more unpredictable maps, and as long as Titan can avoid Mirage, they have a chance on all of them.
I expect the maps to be inferno/train and then something like Cobble/Cache, which is a pretty close series in my opinion. Titan seem to think Cobble is one of their stronger maps, but their showing on the map so far this tournament, so this map worries me. I think Cache will be a close map, and this would be a good one for Titan if they can end on it.
Overall I think looking at this match and the LAN as a whole, it is very unpredictable, and right and reason seems to go out the window on a lot of matches. With that being said, my advise for this game would be to go LOW on Titan and play the odds here. This match has potential to go either way, and Titan have a good chance if they can carry on their form.
You only have to see shox’s face during the veto against Navi to understand this tournament means a lot more to them than VP.
My odds for this match: VP 55:45 Titan
