Wow, people really underestimate NiP even after their great performance against mousesports, great because it was on two of mouz’s best maps and NiP still managed to beat them in two relatively close matches. I’m still surprised NiP won both since f0rest and pyth underperformed on overpass and I expected them to lose the second match.
This time NiP are up against Na`Vi and the good thing for them is the map, train is probably their best map and they managed to beat dignitas quite easily on it, won’t be that easy this time as Na`Vi is a very tough opponent and beating them is quite an achievement, they are also great on train and won majority of their matches on this map, however, they recently lost two matches against SK Gaming (not on train though) and looked quite bad in these, followed it up with a 2-0 over Virtus.pro but still, losing both maps against SK is not something I would expect from Na`Vi.
Pretty hard to make the right call here, this match is pretty much 50-50 and could go either way, my pick is NiP as I believe they are very confident on this map, and the odds are very good for a small underdog bet.
My odds for this match: Na’Vi 50:50 NiP
BO1 on Train, a map both teams can play although Train used to be Navis best map in the past, it might still be but they do look somewhat shaky on it lately. Their most recent match on Train was a loss against SK with a really disappointing T side, GuardiaN was bottomfragging and flamie couldn’t really step up either, Navi looked shockingly bad.
NiP played two BO1’s yesterday against Mousesports and won both, the thing of these BO1’s were that it really could have went either way. Thankfully for NiP, the ”NiP-Magic” showed up and they managed to win on both Cache and Overpass. Overall this BO1 just feels like a Navi win even though Navi aren’t as good online as on lan, I feel like NiP haven’t really faced a tier1 team yet, this will be their first. NiP CAN win if the magic shows up again.
My odds for this match: Na’Vi 55:45 NiP
So this is the first match between these two on CSGOLounge. The map here is Train. Train is a map that both teams can play, and play it quite well. The last time these two faced off eachother on Train, Na’Vi took it 16:3, however that was about 3 months ago with NiP still having Allu! So I watched NiP play versus Mouz yesterday ,and honestly NiP were not too impressive. Mouz players should have been able to close out the game, the first map at least that is, however their players just made mistakes and failed to close it out, meaning they lost the game in OT. 2nd map Overpass ended in a 16:14 for NiP, and Niko, Nex and ChrisJ bottom fragged. When that is happening for Mouz, they are not going to win, the fact that they were able to get 14 rounds is surprising. We have not seen too much of Na’Vi as of recent, of course they beat VP 2-0, and the last time they played Train, they got upset by SK a few weeks ago, however Magiskboy had to drop 37 kills in regulation for that to happen. Honestly, in these tier 1 BO1’s it just comes down to who is landing their shots, who wins the pistol and what not. GuardiaN is going to be instrumental here as always, however Flamie and the rest of the team have to assist them. Pyth has been really up and down for me, not impressed so far. Overall for me this is a 60-40 in favor of Na’Vi here.
2-3% on Na’Vi if under 66%, otherwise 2-3% on NiP here.
My odds = 60-40 Na’Vi
My risk = High
My bet = 2-3% Na’Vi if under 66%, otherwise 2-3% NiP
My advice = Same as my bet
My odds for this match: Na’Vi 60:40 NiP
First game of the day and it’s going to be a good one. Navi vs NiP on train. We all know Navi have not been playing much this month, but they have still shown a decent level in the games they have played, more so since the month has gone on, and they go into this game the favourites.
NiP for the most part actually looked poor yesterday. They needed f0orest to 40 bomb vs mouz to get them the W and that is highly unlikely to happen at a regularity that would be needed for them to put up good results convincingly. The rest of the boys need to step up, namely pyth and Friberg who were poor yesterday. NiP does love Train as a map, but they aren’t as proficient on it as Navi.
I do feel Navi have the upper hand for this game, and if things go as they should, they should take the win here. I do see it being a some what close game, but Navi have enough to take this game. This is the first game we have seen from NiP against top level competition, so it will be an indication of the level they are at right now.
My odds for this match: Na’Vi 60:40 NiP
