It was with this lineup that Revolt won the ESL South East Europe Championship Season 2 with, beating out the biggest and best teams in the Balkan region, including the top dogs E-frag. At this event, they went to the grand finals flawlessly by beating E-frag and CSGO.One in the group BO1’s and then went on to beat E-frag in the grand finals 2-0 to win the top prize of $1,500.

This all happened late last month (28th of Novemeber) and since then they have been pretty quiet, not playing any matches so we don’t really know their form right now. It has been over 2 weeks though since the LAN win so they should be prepared for this.

This team is from Romania, and for people that aren’t in the Balkan region or don’t follow the scene, this team is unknown. They don’t have any records of playing a match on HLTV and 2/5 of the players don’t even have an HLTV player page. eSports in Romania is growing at an extremely fast pace (hence why Cluj-Napoca was a thing), and PhysX and neXtplease seem to be the big two teams coming out from that country.

I managed to find this team’s ESL page, not that it was too much use but on there was the website for this organisation, and on that site there were results for the teams recent matches in the qualifier for this event. (ESL Page:

They played 6 matches total and won 5/6, only losing to FaithIn 11-16. Their results against the other 5 literal no namer teams were quite impressive, with a 16-0, two 16-2’s and two 16-11’s which goes to show that PhysX are a stronger team than what a lot of people would think.

Final thoughts and advice

Revolt should take the cake with this one. We saw PhysX play FaithIn in the qualifier and they lost, which could potentially mean they are on the same level as FaithIn but they are above the ‘noobs/no namer’ teams. Revolt are a dominant team and they proved themselves on LAN just last month. Medium on them depending on the odds is what I’m willing to bet.

My odds for this match: Revolt 75:25 physx
