Stats for the Vexed and Granted as they've appeared on Tipify
Operation Kinguin #2
The successor to the first installment of Operation Kinguin, the second edition offers a prize pool of $20,000 and a total of 32 teams (28 directly invited, 4 qualified through an online qualifier). There are 8 groups in total, each with 4 teams in there. Group C is the one with Vexed and Granted, and along with these two teams there is also the German Alterenate Attax and eXplosive.
Vexed are the most known team in this group and they are also considered one of the best. For a team that has made two majors you can definitely consider them skilled.
Vexed have been playing rather well lately. Just yesterday they beat out RCTIC 2-0 to qualify for ESL Barcelona and prior to that they had tied with E-frag and won against F3 2-0. They are in good form for a T2 team and as this is a somewhat big league for teams of this caliber, they should be trying.
I’m going to make an assumption that this is a team just thrown together as a mix team just for this event. Berry and holzt are in the current No Problem! lineup. Larsen is also a known name in the professional scene, last seen playing in the ‘Reason’ squad but we haven’t seen him or his crew play for quite some time now. As for the other two (Niko and valde), I’m not sure who they are.
Final thoughts and advice
Vexed should be able to take this, 2-0. Granted are just a mix team with some mates while Vexed are a fully functioning team who has had a core that’s been together for quite some time as well as they’re backed up by an org which gives them an incentive to practice and do their best. Odds are super bad for betting but if you’re all about getting that extra dollar then I guess go for the bet on Vexed.
My odds for this match: Vexed 90:10 Granted
