DotA 2 Spring Cleaning Update And Patch 7.08 Breakdown - Tipify

Springtime comes in early as Valve released its Spring Cleaning Update a couple of days ago for DotA 2. The DotA 2 update mainly targets big changes on the user interface, fixing bugs in-game, and DotA 2 client revisions.

Spring Cleaning Update Breakdown

There are new features in the update and Patch 7.08, which makes this year’s Spring Cleaning different. The new features include a new design for user profiles, the added factor of languages in the matchmaking, and a list-hit trainer.

Specifically, the highlight of the update is the newly designed player profile that presents a new layout. Players can now customize their own public profiles, such as an option to choose up to three heroes that can be equipped by any skins, an option to choose a background of their choice, and lastly, an option to display the win-loss record of the player’s last ten matches.

The added last-hit trainer is definitely a good addition to the client. Last-hitting creeps is a fundamental skill needed to play DotA 2 as it is one of the fundamental facets that earn experience to level-up and earn gold to buy items. With that, players can practice with the Last Hit Trainer anytime by clicking the Learn tab of the main menu. In addition, players can even use the trainer while queuing up for games.

Finally, the Spring Cleaning Update added useful functions and a few revamps to the gameplay, including in-game gameplay notifications, a tournament tab that directs players to DotA 2 major and minor tournament live streams, and strategy phase item pooling. There’s also team teleport status and changed visual colors of hero teleport effects, 6-month matchmaking bans and other penalties, new hero-delivery icons, arcade tab revamp, and now the structures’ visual condition will deteriorate slowly, before fully crumbling once its hitpoints hit zero.

Patch 7.08

The DotA 2 update also includes nerfs and buffs for our beloved heroes and items. Here are the changes to the game: Wards—both Observer and Sentry—need to be constantly hit twice before getting killed, the armor auras of Tier 1 Tower increased from 1 to 2, bounty runes base XP reduced from 25 to 0 but its gold growth increased from 2 minutes to 4 minutes, Roshan receives a 25 percent Status Resistance buff, and now the drafting time for pub games for each hero lock is now 25 seconds from 30 seconds.

All in all, the changes will make your gaming a little easier and at the same time make Tipify predictions and betting more exciting and competitive.
