Esports Roster Changes In CS:GO, Dota 2, and League - Tipify

As of this moment, three teams have made moves to perform esports roster changes. A comeback is imminent for some players who haven’t played competitive esports for quite some time now. Currently, SK Gaming is reportedly eyeing ex-100 Thieves’ lineup, the NA branch of Vici Gaming is recharged with new players, while SKT fills-up its 10-man roster.

SK Gaming interested in signing ex-100 Thieves roster

As reported before, players from the now-disbanded CS:GO 100 Thieves roster want to continue playing without kNgV and are interested in signing with an esports organization. Rumors facing the current players of SK Gaming hold them back from signing a contract extension with the organization. Multiple sources report that SK is in serious discussion with the former 100 Thieves to sign the players, but without kNgV.

HEN1, LUCAS1, fnx, and bit last played in a CS:GO tournament last year, at PGL Krakow Major with Immortals. After their departure from Immortals, 100 Thieves was quick to enlist the players with a Legend spot at the ELEAGUE Major: Boston. But, due to issues with visa acquisition and unprofessional comments done by kNgV, 100 Thieves released the Brazilians before they could play a map as 100 Thieves.

SKT bolsters roster

SKT Telecom T1 filled its 10-man League of Legends Champions Korea roster after signing rookie AD carry Han “Leo” Kyeore and former Phoenix1 mid laner Choi “Pirean” Jun-sik. Leo’s roots come from the Korean amateur scene where his signing with SKT, marks his debut as a professional League player. Pirean might be more popular with the North American fans as he played the mid lane role with Phoenix1 in the NA LCS.

Vici Gaming Restores Its NA Dota 2 Team

After disbanding the team last month, Vici Gaming J Storm is returning to compete in the NA region. Jingjun “Sneyking” Wu returns to the team as part of the original roster before the disband. Also returning to the lineup are Yawar “YawaR” Hassan, Enzo “Timado” Gianoli, Arif “MSS” Anwar, and Avery “SVG” Silverman to round up the players of VGJ.Storm.
