Esports News – Gamers should always keep on top of the must-have equipment out there. This is because the best gaming equipment can maximize gaming experiences. It doesn’t matter if you’re a hardcore or casual gamer, proper hardware can mean the difference between victory and defeat. More than that, the right gaming equipment that can easily follow the gamer’s own creativity, vision, or theme can change the way one plays the game. But we all know that these combinations can be costly, which is why it is our goal to make sure that you get the best equipment your money can buy.
Proceeding on this track, this week’s episode of Tipify Gaming Equipment series features two gaming monitors that were voted up by gamers as two of the most expensive video game products. More that that, the monitors not only boast off great specs, they can also enhance the look of your battle stations. Take a look at Acer Predator X27 and Dell Alienware AW3418DW.
Acer PREDATOR X27
Before it was announced by the company, the Acer Predator X27 has been hugely anticipated by gamers. The hype was because of its key features: 3840 x 2160 resolution, 1000 compatible DisplayHDR. 144Hz refresh rate, full array local dimming HDR, and Nvidia G-Sync Technology. If you’re a gamer who spends plenty of time on first-person shooters, then we’re certain that this monitor is the best for you as it values appearance and response time.
The price? $1,999 USD. But don’t be shocked, we can tell that it really lives up to the hype despite its size (and price). The Predator is only equipped with a 27-inch screen, but its display and graphics are truly striking. Because of its solid graphic features, gamers can experience incredible brightness level (1,000 nits peak brightness), superior contrast ratio, and wide color gamut (100% sRGB, 99% Adobe RGB, and 96% DCI-P3).
DELL ALIENWARE AW3418DW
This curved monitor offers a gorgeous 34-inch display, and inside it are the 3440 x 1440 screen, Nvidia G-Sync technology, 19000 Radius, 178-degree field, 120Hz refresh rate (overclocked), and 4ms response time. Experiencing first-person shooter and MOBA genres on this monitor is straight-up revelatory. According to the majority of hands-on reviewers, it allows anyone to easily spot every enemy in their peripheral visions and enter commands without lags.
The Dell Alienware AW3418DW is slightly cheaper than Acer Predators’, but we can’t entirely say that it’s cheap as it’s priced at $1,299 dollars. However, since this model sits somewhere in the middle of the hierarchy, it is limited to 270 nits of brightness, 127.2 percent of sRG color gamut, and 12.9 milliseconds of latency.
