Guangzhou Charge Releases Full Roster For OWL Season 2 - Tipify

Esports News – Most of the expansion teams are now ready for The Overwatch League season 2, and China’s Guangzhou Charge leads the charge with their full roster. The team added several Korean players for the key roles, but the line-up is completely mixed. See the complete roster of the team below:

  • Hong-Jun “HOTBA” Choi – An 18-year old South Korean player who played for Philadelphia Fusion in the Overwatch League inaugural season and LW/LW Red in the Overwatch Apex Season 4. He’s now the new Flex of Guangzhou Charge. His signature heroes are D.Va, Zarya, and Tracer.
  • Ou “Eileen” Yiliang  A former LGD. Gaming player, Eileen previously participated in NetEase Esports X Tournament, Overwatch Contenders 2018 Season 2: China, and LanStory Cup 2018. His signature heroes are Genji, Doomfist, and Sombra. He’ll make his debut at OWL Season 2 as the team’s DPS.
  • Lee “Happy” Jung-woo – Previously under the I.D “Vesta” under Meta Bellum and Element Mystic, he made his debut at the BigFile Overwatch Battle Royal, and now plays as one of Guangzhou Charge’s DPS. His signature heroes are Widowmaker and McCree.
  • Finley “Kyb” Adisi – A British player who previously played under the banners of British Hurricane, Those Guys, Laser Kittens, Renegades, and REUNITED. He now plays as the DPS for Guangzhou Charge, together with his signature heroes Genji and Roadhog.
  • Charlie “nero” Zwarg – An American player currently playing as another DPS for the team. He was a seasoned player from Academy Gaming Overwatch Weekly and Overwatch Contender 2018. His signature heroes are Genji and Pharah.
  • Oh “ Rio” Seung-pyo – A former player of Meta Bellum, Meta Athena, and Afreeca Freecs. He’s now a tank player under the banner of Guangzhou with his signature heroes Winston and Reinhardt.
  • Kim “Chara” Jung-yeon – A South Korean player from Meta Bellum, he made his debut at Overwatch Apex Season 2: Offline Qualifier. He now plays for Guangzhou as Support. His signature heroes are Ana, Lucio, and Moira.
  • Chen “OnlyWish” Lizhen – A Chinese player from LGD Gaming. He made his professional debut at Overwatch premier Series 17 and now plays as one of Guangzhou’s support. His signature hero is Mercy.
  • Kim “Shu” Jin-seo – With his signature heroes Zenyatta, Ana, and Widowmaker, Shu will now play as one of his new team’s support. He previously played for Toronto Esports, Meta Athena, and Flash Lux.
  • Lee “WonJaeLee” Won-jae – Another support from the team. He was a former player of Meta Bellum, Simplicity, Bon’s Spirit Gaming, Showmanship 7, and LW/LW Red. His signature hero is Zenyatta.
