Esports News – The DreamHack Open Tours 2019 is upon us. This series is the biggest and most exciting offline CS:GO tournament in the world and runs alongside the ECS and ESL qualifiers. With that, here’s a definitive viewer’s guide to follow the event:

Tournament overview

The 2019 edition of the Open Tours marks its second season. It will take place in Tours, France from May 17 to 19. This year, eight of the best CS:GO teams compete for the $100,000 prize pool and the offline title.

The competing teams will undergo a total of thirteen matches, six Bo1 and seven Bo3. It starts with the group stage to feature 2 double-elimination groups with 4 teams each. The Opening and Winner’s matches are in Bo1, as well as the Elimination and Deciders. The top 2 teams from each group who dominate the stage advances to the playoffs.

The final day of the competition is dedicated for the single-elimination bracket in the playoffs. All matches are in Bo3. Every stage, the competition eliminates any one-map upset to spice up the game. The champion of the tournament brings home $50,000, followed by $20,000, $10,000, $3,000, and $2,000 for the runner-ups.
