Esports News – Different LoL competitive leagues around the world draw closer to playoffs. In no time, we’ll have our final set of teams for League of Legends World Championship 2019. To prepare for the big day, Riot’s here for another gameplay update, which gives light to Patch 9.15.
The new update is a relatively smaller compared to its predecessors, Patch 9.13 and 9.14. Players will find minor buffs and nerfs, but significantly improved several problematic functions of champions and in-game features. Here are the biggest changes to the game:
Midlaner minor buffs
Midlaners like Xerath, Lissandra, Leblanc, and Syndra received some minor changes. They won’t significantly change LoL’s gameplay, but the buffs are beneficial to players who often use mid laners. Xerath’s range with his Rite of the Arcane was changed from 3200/4400/5600 to 5000; Lissandra’s health and health growth were updated from 528 to 500 and 87 to 9, respectively; Leblanc’s base root damage with her Ethereal Chains increased from 60/90/120/150/180 to 70/110/150/190/230; and Syndra’s base damage per sphere with her Unleashed Power also increased from 0/135/180 to 90/140/190.
Massive buffs for Malphite Vayne and Lucian
Users of Malphite, Vayne, and Lucian will be delighted with their new capabilities. Vayne can now execute a 150 percent Condemn’s damage to a target cornered on a wall. The damage can instantly be felt by the enemy. Lucian had his Culling’s base damage increased from 20/35/50 to 20/40/60 per shot. Malphite, meanwhile, is now deadlier than ever. His Seismic Shard, Thunderclap, and Unstoppable Force were all updated.
The Legacy Cursor
The Legacy Cursor is an old childhood friend, so it had to be gone. Riot removed the cursor from the game as they plan to incorporate new icons for Patch 9.15. It’s still uncertain if the developers will include the cursor as an option in the future.
Don’t mourn for the Legacy Cursor because the Project Skin line is back. The new skins from the new update goes to Pyke, Irelia, Jinx, Akali, and Warwick. Among all, Irelia is said to get a special bonus from the Prestige Edition skin.
