The International 9 Group Stage Division And Schedule

Esports News – The International 2019 released its list of teams for the group stages, along with the full schedule for the first day of the tournament. All 18 Dota 2 teams are now divided into two groups with 9 teams each, and they will all compete in Shanghai today.
Under Group A, we have Alliance, Chaos Esports Club, Keen Gaming, Mineski, Newbee, PSG.LGD, Team Liquid, Team Secret and TNC Predator. Group B features Evil Geniuses, Fnatic, Infamous, Natus Vincere, Ninjas in Pyjamas, OG, Royal Never Give Up, Vici Gaming and Virtus.pro.
Based on the current Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) rankings, Group A contains some of the biggest powerhouse teams representing the first, fifth, sixth, ninth, tenth, and twelfth teams on the ranking. The participants came from Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America regional qualifiers. Group B carries the second, third, fourth, seventh, eighth, and eleventh teams from China, CIS, and South America regional qualifiers.
The two groups will compete in a round-robin format with two games for each series. The team with the lowest number of wins from each group will be eliminated at the end of the group stage, while the remaining 16 teams will proceed to the double-elimination bracket.
The first day of The International 9 kicks off, and the day’s round-robin matches will feature five sets of series. The four matches from each series will culminate simultaneously. Here’s the full schedule for today’s matches:
