LoL All-Star 2019 Voting Lines Are Now Open - Tipify

Esports News – Before commencing the new competitive season of League of Legends, there’s one more blowout this year hosted by Riot Games. The voting for the 2019 All-Star Event is now open and will run until November 20, 2019, at 8:00 a.m. PT.

Voting mechanics

Fans can cast their favorite LoL teams and professional players for the event. Each account can vote up to two pro players from each participating region. Users can vote for players hailing from other regions, too, but votes for home regions have more impact. According to Riot, cross-region voting only has a 20% impact factor in the final count. In other words, the final result is heavily based on the number of votes per player in their home region.

Player visa processing is another restriction on user voting. Some regions on the list are excluded from global voting due to visa timelines. Voters are encouraged to check their local esports site to see if cross-region voting is available in the server.

Player pool

Not all pro players are part of the lineup. A player is only eligible if he has played at least five professional matches during the 2019 competitive season. With that, the number of players per team and region is not even for LCS, LEC, LPL, LCK, CBLOL, LLA, LJL, OPL, and TCL. The non-pros have fewer restrictions, so the majority of personalities in the LoL community is present.

Once the voting period ends, two players will play to represent their region. Six more handpicked players by Riot Games joins them, while the remaining spots are given to League Partners, esports influencers, and content creators. Fans can track their chosen players on the server as Riot displays the voting percentage of leading participants.

All qualified players on the lineup will take part in the following events: All-Star 1v1 Tournament, Teamfight Tactics 5v5 event, Summoner’s Rift show matches, Ultra Rapid Fire mode, and Tandem mode. Among all matches, the Rise of the Elements Invitational is the most-anticipated event. The tournament begins and culminate at the Esports Arena in Las Vegas from December 5 to 7.
