Esports News – The biggest Dota 2 update of this year is finally out. Known as the Outlanders Update, it offers major modifications, item changes, and new champions. We’ll finally know what Snapfire and Void Spirit are capable of after months of teasing from the developers.
Void Spirit and Snapfire were introduced at the recent The International 2019. We already know their lores, biographies, and main capabilities, but we haven’t played them yet. Void Spirit functions as a melee carry who can move from one place to another easily. He’s fast, nearly invisible, and deadly. He can stan and inflict real damage on the enemies. Snapfire, on the other hand, functions as a ranged support with multiple abilities and homemade weapons.
Every player in the pool now gets his or her own courier. This courier allows them to level up as their players level up in the actual game. When heroes reaches level 25, the courier is allowed to use items in general. More special items await higher-level players and heroes.
More than that, heroes can now reach level 30. Players can unlock their full potential in the talent tree—with or without special items. As no hero currently possess the level at the time of writing, some theories claim that heroes hitting the maximum level might become unbalanced. But that’s for you and other players to find out.
Several neutral items received major modifications. The unique items from the neutrals cannot be sold to other players, but can be shared with team members. In total, there are five tiers of items in the game. For each tier, the odds are be divided into two every drop, and only one item will be received by each team.
There are a total of 62 neutral items in the game but don’t worry, you can carry all them because Riot updated the Backpack slots. The slots have been increased from 3 to 4 to allow players to roam around with multiple items in their packs.
