Astralis, our favorites to take Sydney’s trophy is going to face one of the top runner ups after beating Mousesports in the Group B for a spot in the semifinals of the playoffs.
FNATIC had a good campaign so far in IEM Sydney and they already booked their spot in the tournament, now in this match we will be seeing who will be directly advancing for the semifinals and who will have to play one extra match in the quarterfinals. Certainly we got impressed by the Swedes in their best of three against G2 earlier today. After getting beaten in the first map, Fnatic got their composure back and gave us some flashbacks from the old times when teams had to run away from JW and KRIMZ.
However now they faced their nemesis. Astralis is currently the top team in the world and this has a reason to be true. The team is in a completely other level when it comes to their tactical setups and they already shown to Fnatic what they’re able to do in their last encounter. Coming in this match, Astralis has everything to repeat their dominant victory over the Swedes that we saw in Marseille.
For this match, we expect to see Mirage from FNATIC, Inferno from Astralis and Train as the decider map. While Fnatic will put up a fight in Mirage, they basically don’t have many chances in the remaining picks. We recommend a bet on Astralis here.
My odds for this match: Astralis 78:22 Fnatic
