Alrighty gonna write same pred for both matchups since same map for both BO1. Map here is Train if HLTV is correct. Thing here is that C9 should be able to take this very easily. If you struggle versus Complexity on the map there is no hope for you versus an in form Cloud9. Of course you never know with Brazilian teams, they tend to surprise a lot however I just don’t see another result but C9 taking this 2-0. It is a BO1 however and that is mostly why we are not betting on this, I am just not a big fan of BO1’s with 91-9 odds lol, just doesn’t grant enough of a return really for the risk involved. C9 has been on fire of course and recently returned from Brazil where they of course destroyed SK in the finals to take it home which was really impressive. Before C9 left for the LAN they also had impressive online form and I see no reason why it should not continue. The LG players have been grinding like Rank S and by no means are bad however meh, realistically they should not challenge C9 much. Should be ez 2-0 C9 but not gonna bet because odds. 80-20

My odds for this match: Cloud9 80:20 Luminosity
This is a double header and both matches will be played on train, so I’ll just write the same prediction for both matches. So, basically I don’t think Luminosity have any chances of winning here, train is Cloud9’s best map and their results on it are just insane, they consistently beat some of the best teams in the world on it, recently beat FaZe three times, FlipSid3, Immortals, and lots of NA teams such as TSM, OpTic, Splyce and NRG, they rarely lose their train matches, and if they do, it’s usually very close. Also, Cloud9 just won ESL Pro League Finals which is absolutely insane, they are on fire right now.
Luminosity is just a tier 3 NA team, not very good but not terrible either, they did win a couple of maps against compLexity, Millenium and Echo Fox, not too bad, but then again, Luminosity also lost lots of matches against compLexity and other mediocre NA teams, even a team called DatZit won 14 rounds against them, they also didn’t have time to practice for todays matches as they were on ESWC with a stand in, there’s just no way they beat Cloud9 here.
Two medium bets on Cloud9 is what I suggest here, should be pretty easy.
My odds for this match: Cloud9 75:25 Luminosity
Simply put, I don’t really see C9 losing these games. LG are not a bad team, they have some semi decent players, but if they struggle to take down coL on train, I find it hard to believe they have what it takes to beat C9. The only slight worry is, if they take it light hearted and don’t try and think they can just show up and win, and then lose the opening pistol and things slip away. But that is unlikely to happen, and unless C9 really have an off day, they will take both train games and get the 2-0 here. Betting on LG to win a few rounds on the 2nd map might be a good idea.
My odds for this match: Cloud9 70:30 Luminosity
