Conclusion

Don’t agree with the current odds, Flipsid3 are hovering below 10% and eh, don’t agree like I said. This is essentially two Ukrainian sides coming against eachother, the best Ukrainian team and 2nd best, and while yes obviously there is quite a gap between them, I would not put it at a 90-10, ESPECIALLY since this is a BO1. Did people forget that N’aVi dropped a map to EchoFox over the last month? Flipsid3 are notorious for being strategically and tactically sound and Blad3 is a great tactician who can read teams well and what not, he just needs his players to also show up and be able to stop Na’Vi in their tracks. This obviously will not be about which F3 turns up here, it will be more about which Na’Vi shows up here, will it be the one that is losing to teams like EchoFox, CSGOLounge and such, or will it be one of the top contenders to win the whole major. These two have faced off quite a bit recently and obviously it has gone in the favor of Na’Vi, however do not count Flipsid3 out. I do think that F3 needs more firepower, Shara just unfortunately does not cut it, the team has too many passive players and having WorldEdit do the solo carry like every single game with Markeloff going off here and there occassionally, it just does not cut it. Shara just simply is not consistent enough nor impactful enough for the team I feel and I think it is only a matter of time until he gets replaced. Overall, yes Na’Vi will probably and should be winning this, however 80-20 here.

Option 2Tiny bet on the underdog

Token Bet

Pick the team with the lowest odds, place a small amount of money you don't mind losing.

I thought this could be an underdog bet again, but honestly I feel like 80-20 odds seem just about right, I think FlipSid3 could maybe take a map off of Na’Vi if they played like 5 maps against them, they actually played 4 maps against Na’Vi on ELEAGUE and didn’t take a single one, they also didn’t perform up to their standards lately, got wrecked by Na’Vi, went 1-1 against Echo Fox, lost against Optic, FaZe and few other tier 2 teams, somehow managed to beat mousesports 2-0 which is actually a big surprise, and also beat Renegades, HellRaisers and Immortals in three separate best of one matches on the qualifier for this event.

Na’Vi also had a couple of bad matches like that 11-16 loss against Echo Fox on dust2 or 6-16 against mousesports on mirage, but overall they have been doing quite well, they stomped FlipSid3 on three out of four maps and the forth one was 16-13 so that one looked quite scary, also 2-0’d Echo Fox in the semi final of the ELEAGUE group with 16-4 on overpass and 16-9 on nuke, the second match against mousesports on cobblestone was also a stomp as Na’Vi won it 16-6, so they seem to be ready for this major.

So jugding from the previous encounters I guess we will either see train, overpass or mirage and Na’Vi beat FlipSid3 quite easily on those three maps before, this time it is a very important match on probably one of the most important events in the history of CS:GO, pretty sure Na’Vi will take it quite easily.

My odds for this match: Na’Vi 80:20 FSid3

Navi going into this game are the heavy favourites of course, and I honestly think Fside are going to have a hard time taking down their fellow CIS side. Imagine kristyboi trying to beat a Gold Nova in a 1v1, it’s going to be really hard, with a high chance they will lose. This is what we are dealing with here. Navi do not really drop maps in games like this, and unless the map is PERFECT, Fside take both pistols, lose no anti ecos, and win 1 first gun round, then maybe they have a chance at taking it. This is of course highly unlikely, and the most likely scenario is, the map will be train, Fside will play really passive because they are scared, and Navi will run all over them like England did with Iceland, or so I wish. MED on Navi, or SKIP.

My odds for this match: Na’Vi 80:20 FSid3
