This match features the king of China in RNG and the second seed of Europe in Vitality. Both teams had a successful day 1 and are looking to replicate that success here.
RNG cruised through C9 in their first match of Worlds, and that was to be expected. Uzi and Ming destroyed the bot lane of C9 with an aggressive lane of Xayah and Thresh, and all around RNG looked very clean despite some bumps in the early game. Vitality should be another easy game like C9, but Vitality’s game against Gen.G might prove otherwise.
Vitality shocked the world by beating Gen.G in the group stage and going up 1-0 over the Korean reigning champions. Jiizuke looked absolutely beautiful on the Ekko counterpick, and ran over Crown the entire game. On top of that, the clean shot-calling to TP into the base to end the game by Cabochard and Attila was very impressive. All in all the aggressive gameplay is what Vitality are going to need to show to have a chance to get out of this very hard group.
For this matchup, we are predicting an RNG victory. Even though Vitality took down Gen.G and looked good doing it, RNG is one of the best teams at the tournament and the skill of Uzi should push them to a clean and easy victory.
