I can’t say it’s used as much as HLTV for example but hey, it’s not that bad! 😀 Major matches are getting av. 50 tips, the 2 or 3 are from the ‘pro’ tipsters, let’s say they’re the ones “hired” by Tipify. Also, I think that the monthly competition ran by the site is yet to get known and accumulate much more users here :P.
Being completly honest I think that one of the reasons is sometimes late upadating, it can create a feeling of a “dead site”. I imagine some people just get annoyed by waiting hours to see the results of their tips come in. This need a fix (implement those mods already Lex :PP). Also,I feel like Tipify needs some, how to call that… activization? Getting users involved. Maybe chat available for everybody besides the one for prime users?
Other ideas anybody??
I luv this site, so yeah its surprising that there isnt as many people on it then you’d think the quality of the site would deserve.
more advertising hopefully :p
maybe add an actual betting aspect? i dont know if tipify would want to get involved in that legal shannigans and stuff, i certainly wouldn’t
It’s not a dead site by any means, the tipsters only represent a small portion of our site traffic, the bulk of our traffic is here to view/read tips, not necessarily participate (tho I wish they would).
The forum is slightly tucked and mainly used for discussions between members with issues with the site rather than general discussion about matches / odds etc.
Overall we’ve been rebuilding, the CSGOLounge shutdown in June hit us hard, we’ve had to rebrand and rebuild to get where we are now. We’re back on the rise again now and working hard to make 2017 awesome for Tipify.
We’re advertising where we can and have a lot of giveaways running to draw in new users from further afield. But realistically the best advertising we could do is have more people spread the word and share with friends.
